Kaley Coltrain

Classroom

Coltrain has earned considerable recognition as she pursues a degree in social work.

She has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Academic Honor Roll, and is a six-time Dean’s List selection. Coltrain was also named the April 2021 Student-Athlete of the Month by Marist’s Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement.

Character

Entering her second year as a team captain, Coltrain sets a terrific example with her work on and off the field. She is held in high regard in multiple areas of the campus community.

Coltrain was also home schooled from second grade until her first year at Marist.

Community

Coltrain has made an impact in multiple areas of the campus and surrounding communities. She is a member of the Marist Diversity Council LGBTQ Sub-Committee and has interned at both the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie and One Love Training Certified.

Competition

Coltrain has established herself as one of the most formidable hitters in the MAAC.

She led the conference in BA, SLG, OBP, and home runs en route to being named a first team all-conference and MAAC All-Championship team selection last season. Coltrain also had an incredible freshman season that saw her named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team, All-MAAC second team, and All-Region third team.
