Kyle Ostrow

Classroom

Kyle Ostrow maintains a 3.59 GPA in finance with a minor in real estate. He has improved his GPA each year since his freshman year and has made the University of Denver’s Dean’s List for 3.75 GPA or better three times. He is a two-time WCHA Scholar-Athlete and two-time WCHA All-Academic Team member. Ostrow was a member of the DU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee his freshman year.

Character

Ostrow is one of the highest character student-athletes for the DU hockey team. He is accountable in the classroom and on the ice where he hasn’t missed a game in his three-year career (122 games). He will lead the Pioneers as team captain this season after serving as an alternate captain as a junior.

Community

Ostrow volunteers his free time for the Starlight Foundation, Jr. Pioneers Hockey Program and Qwest Food Drive.

Competition

Ostrow scored a career-best 16 goals in his junior season. In his career, Ostrow has tallied 77 points on 40 goals and 37 assists in 122 career games. He has netted 10 or more goals in each of his three seasons at DU. Ostrow has tallied nine career game-winning goals and 17 career multi-point games.
